Dan Marks's '71 Cutlass Supreme

I purchased my 1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme in 1994 from a used car lot in Newark Ohio. The car had been repainted Placer Gold in 1991 and showed 99,500 miles. The car was mostly original with the Protecto Plate still in the glovebox.

The car is equipped with a Rocket 350 engine, 350 turbo transmission, black bench seat interior, factory a/c, Am/Fm ( soon to add on 8-track tape ) PS,PB. In addition, I have detailed the engine compartment, trunk and underbody. The interior was partly restored as needed using resto parts from Year One. The exhaust is 2 1/2 inch aluminized pipe with Flowmaster 2-chamber mufflers. Wheels are classic Cragar SS, 14 X 6 front and 15 X 8 in the rear wrapped with B.F. Goodrich Radial TAs. The car now shows 100,500 miles and is driven to local shows and cruise-ins in the summer and stored during Ohio winters. The car has won it's share of awards and is a blast to drive.
The car has appeared in the Readers Rides section of Hot Rod magazine (August 1997) .
