Tim Plas's '72 442

This car is a 1972 442 convertible purchased within 2 miles from my house, it spent its entire life in Georgia, and to find a rust free one like this was quite a find. The car was originally green, then painted red. It was a factory 350 with a/c.

I decided to make the car what i wanted so I painted it 1997 Dodge Viper Metallic Blue and swapped the engine for a 455, keeping the factory air. The engine has been bored .060 over with preformer intake, aluminum roller rockers, 10.5:1 forged aluminum pistons, gear drive, pertronix ignition, 800 holley double pumper, 150 powershot nitrous oxide, 3500 stall converter in turbo 400 and a 1969 3.91 posi. The car has buckets, ralley pac guages, tic-toc-tac, dual gate, power windows, power disc brakes, power trunk, power locks, power steering. The wheels are mid 70's 15" ralleys with bf goodrich radial t/a's on the front, and drag radials on the back. For tunes it has a remote control alpine am/fm/cass with 12 disc changer, alpine amps, alpine 6x9's and a pair of kicker solobarics.

I did a complete frame off restoration with new springs, polyurethane bushings, everything. The car was so clean, the only bolt that broke was under the battery tray, and I put the fuel tank back with the original straps and bolts. And yes, I know the grill is from a 1971 442, but i like the look of it better. The car has been 4 years in the making and i absolutely love it.
