Terry Wiles's '70 Cutlass Supreme

I purchased my '70 Olds coupe in Sept. of '95 for $300. It was a California car with 200K+ miles, about 20% of the interior in place, broken windshield, and wandered like a one legged duck in a pond! I bought the car without hesitation because of the minimal rust and body damage, a new transmission, new radiator and I already had the parts needed to fix the steering.

Since then the car has been painted custom B/C electric blue w/ pearl white rallye stripes. The interior is completely new with door panels, headliner, carpet, trim, and dash parts from the Paddock and Year One. The seats (front and rear) are out of a '90 Pontiac Grand Prix, they are light grey with the "Oldsmobile" script embroidered in the headrests. These seats were almost a direct bolt in! Not to mention comfy.

The motor has been worked from top to bottom with the addition of Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and Edelbrock 750 Carb. 2 1/4" dual exhaust, w/ Edelbrock Performer mufflers. Also added were Crane Cam, 1.6:1 Rockers, and springs. Accel Super Coil w/ 8mm SS wires and Accel Plugs. (Hope to change to HEI soon!) Cooling is handled by a 3-core radiator, 18" Flex-a-lite fan, and a 12" Thin-line Electric "Pusher" fan. AutoMeter gages keep on eye on all the action. The Trans. is the original TH350 with a B&M Shift Kit, and B&M Megashifter. The original 2.73:1 rear was swapped out for a '70 Chevelle 10 bolt posi unit, and was rebuilt with Richmond 3.55:1 gears.
The handling has been helped with the addition of a 1" sway-bar out back and new 3/4" unit up front, new shocks, and ball joints. A poly bushing kit is in the future. Everything rides on Centerline Wheels and BFG Meats. 15x8.5" / 235-60-15 front - and - 15x10" / 275-60-15 rear.
